Cucharro

Food, Mexico City style.  It was interesting and different.  My favorite was the cactus dish.  I loved the texture of it and Charlie says it's a common dish eaten by the Mexico City locals.  This is also a late post and I can't remember the dishes, sorry!  I was told the Charlie's Devil cocktail is really good and then one of our dining guests confirmed it was and had 2 more!

Sparrow

Excellente!  Sorry, late post.  This dinner was several weeks ago and I just don't remember the dishes, but we pretty much went with what our server recommended and most of it was delicious as she raved about them.  Here with Monica Pope and Oscar!

Superman & Pumpkin

At least that was their names the entire last week of October.

Pinkberry!

I love how they just put a small dollup of yogurt and pile on the fruits! This is the fruit bowl with original yogurt.  I was kind of over the yogurt thing, until I found the fruit cup at Pinkberry...YUM!

Nutcracker Market!

Always something fun to do this time of year. Susan and I spent 2.5 hours browsing, sampling and we both made a few purchases. This year I got a reindeer, some baby shower digs and some awesome lotions from Savannah Bee Company. This year for this weekend only, so if you missed it this weekend sorry, but you'll have to wait till next year. My feet are pooped!

Sale Sucre

Sale sucre a French bakery by Philippe Harel next to Tacos a Go Go.  It's been on my list of places to go, turns out it's not a bakery but a bistro.  Finally, I make plans, Ty joins me and walking in, it's one of those places that makes me want to immediately walk out.  I hesitantly sit, skim the menu and now I really want to leave.  What is this a crepes place?  We decide to stay and ask our server, who is the son of the owner, and tells us the owner used to own a valet company (I'm really not being sold on this restaurant), what to order.  He recommends for me the spinach and mushroom crepe and for Ty the beef tenderloin crepe.  He also recommended a soup to accompany each crepe, but the prices are so high ($12 & 14 respectively), we decide to just skip the soup.  Our food comes out and we both take a bite and both think, mm...good.  After our meal, we order the strawberries, chocolate and whip cream crepe at our server's recommendation and that was good too!  So...as the old adage says, don't judge a book by it's cover.  I was pleasantly surprised and happy with our food!  Yeah, I'd definitely go back, if in the mood for crepes.
